- Dissimilar metal welding (e.g., nickel alloys to steels)
- Cladding steel with Ni-Cr-Mo weld metal for improved corrosion resistance
- Applications in chemical processing plants, pollution control equipment, pulp and paper mills, etc.
Storage and Handling:
- Store in dry, cool conditions away from moisture and contaminants.
- Maintain electrodes in sealed containers until use.
- Follow recommended preheat and interpass temperatures for optimal welding results.
Safety Precautions
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including welding helmet, gloves, and clothing.
- Ensure proper ventilation to avoid inhaling welding fumes.
- Handle electrodes carefully to prevent burns or injuries.
- Follow safe welding practices to avoid electrical hazards and fire risks.
